She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Scott Johnson and Theresa Hurgins Johnson; her children, Cynthia Johnson and Craig Johnson; her siblings, Lavern Richard "Niecy" Johnson and Elaine Stowe; her former husbands, Robert Johnson, Willie Reeves and Henry Flagg; and her close friend Cherry Greer.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Johnson of Washington, D. C., Karen Reeves of Florence, SC, Joyce Nash of Springfield, IL. and Willie "Pete" Reeves of Springfield, IL.; her siblings, Violet Ross of Chicago, IL, Bertha Rias of Chicago, IL, Darnell Johnson of Springfield, IL. and Gregory Johnson of Washington, D. C.; her grandchildren, Larry Bolden, Kordarero Wallace, Lynn Randall, Malcolm Beal Reeves, Shaa Randall, Memory Elaine Reeves, Tijdra Randall and Gabriel Reeves; her son-in-law Larry Nash; her caregiver Zenobia "Charlotte" Williams; and her nieces, Theresa Banks Dabner of Springfield, IL, Barbara Ashford of Springfield, IL, Yolanda Booker of South Holland, IL and Orlandra Waller of Hammond, IN. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
