She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward VanDerWal and Ruth Murphy; her sister-in-law Rosemary VanDerWal; and her husband Randy. She is survived by: her children, Michael Carter (Brenda) of Sherman, IL and Jamie Singer (Brandon) of Sherman, IL; her siblings, Ed VanDerWal, Sharon Graham and Deborah Turner (Bill); and her grandchildren, Connor, Kyle Carter, Braylon and Jayla Singer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any of the many charities helping to fight cancer.
