Judy Slatten Countryman Obituary

We announce the death of Judy Slatten Countryman of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 94. Judy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Schley Slatten and Newman Slatten; and her husband Dean Clark Countryman. She is survived by: her children, Craig (Beth), Rebecca, Dick, Bruce (Stephanie) and Paul (Marni); her grandchildren, Ryan, David, Ben, Sara, Ursula, Caleb, Keiler and Rory; and her great grandchildren, Perri, Walker, Esme and Weston.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
