She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Kepner and Jane Kepner (Comegys). She is survived by: her husband Francis of Springfield; her children, Karie Valentino (Franco) of Chicago, Laura Droege (Aaron) of South Carolina, Michael Giganti (Ashley) of Lombard and Mark Giganti (Noelle) of New Jersey; her siblings, Carol, Bonnie, Maureen, Mary Jane and Daniel; and her grandchildren, Elyse, Nicolo, Owen, Isabella, Elodie and Amelia.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Butler Funeral Home-Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (722 S 12th St, Springfield, IL 62703).

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
