She was predeceased by: her parents, Buddy Wayne and Catherine Spencer-Whiteside; her stepfather Marvin Whiteside; her siblings, Reola Dickerson, Denice Maddox, JoAnn Ward and Paul "Sonny" Whiteside; and her son Robert "Bobby" L. Beard, Jr. (Kathryn).
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Beard, Sr.; her daughter Sylvia Tennial (Eugene); and her siblings, Terry Hale of Albany, GA, Marva Whiteside, Carol Day (Chuck), Renae Matlock of Springfield, IL., Darrell Whiteside of Fayetteville, NC and Gary Whiteside of Springfield, IL.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
