She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hurst and Doris Hurst (Curry); her husband Arthur Clutts; her brother Charles E. Hurst; her children, Richard Paul Rankin and Julie Denning; and her grandchild Ashley Newton.
She is survived by: her children, Burl Ives, Hank Williams, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Willie Nelson, Carol Rankin of Springfield, Michael Rankin (Cindy) of Danvers and Susan Wheaton (Phil) of Marion; her grandchildren, Emily Gibson (Tom), Phil Rankin (Jessica Stoddard), Andy Rankin (Casey), Joel Schmidt (Jessica Hughes), Chelsea Johnson (Paul), Aaron Leesman, Evan Newton (Summer), Kathryn Sue Newton (Darian Hardwick) and Kathryn Elizabeth Newton; and her sister Betty Dunlap of Swansea. She is also survived by great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
