With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth B. Schnapp of Springfield, Illinois, born in Pleasant Plains, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth B. Schnapp to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schnapp and Josephine Irwin Schnapp; his sons, Kenneth R. and Michael P. Schnapp; and his siblings, Loren, Robert, Richard, George Schnapp and Ruby Krueger.
He is survived by: his wife Greta Aldridge; his children, Deborah Mataya of Springfield, Tom Schnapp (Theresa) of Springfield and Steve Schnapp (Becky) of Humansville, MO.; his stepdaughter Teresa Millmore (Chris) of Bloomington; and his sisters, Peg Leskovisek (Frank) of Pawnee and Carol Garrett of Springfield. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
A private graveside service was held at Rock Creek Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to West Side Christian Church.
