Lawrence left this world on February 22, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Emma Rose Hesson. He is survived by: his children, Brad Skinner (Diana) of Springfield, Kelly Tisdale (Neal) of Chattanooga and Jennifer Hesson (Steve) of Athens; and his grandchildren, Morgan Kilberg (Michael), Mitchell Wendling (Avery), Matthew Wendling (Emily), Nathan Hesson and Ella Hesson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Because he could not sit still yet again, he got a job at the State Capital as a doorman at the Senate, working for several years until Covid hit.
