She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Lease and Helen Bierhaus Lease; her sister Betty Jo Lease; her husband James E. "Jim" Davis; her children, Judy Anderson (George) of Springfield and James William Davis of Virginia; her stepgranddaughter Sasha Lamtyugina of Chicago; and her grandsons, Craig Anderson (Carmen Stokes) and Connor Anderson of Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church.
