She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Barnwell and Annie Euraskis Barnwell; her husband William Armstead; her siblings, Joanne Hanlon and Jack Barnwell; and her grandson Ricky Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Armstead, Rick Armstead (Susan), Joann Brown (Richard), Mike Armstead, Judy Yoakum (Jason) and Jerry Armstead (Cathy); and her brother Mike Barnwell. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
