It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Elizabeth Strow (Springfield, Illinois), who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Wallace F. Strow, Sr. and Margaret Miller Strow. She is survived by: her husband David Reid; her daughters, Catherine Reid and Sarah Reid Fletcher (Tom); her stepson David B. Reid (Rebecca); her grandsons, Wallace Hugh and Reid Fletcher; her siblings, Dr. Wallace F. Strow, Jr. (Anh), Dr. Susan Stegeman (Jim), Brian Strow and Karen Strow; and her stepmother Patricia Strow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1725 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (524 E Lawrence Ave, Springfield, IL 62703).
