We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2026, at the age of 87, Marilyn Kaye Castles of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Marilyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marilyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Piggott and Lucille Piggott (Rogers); her husband Terry Castles, Sr.; her grandson Andrew Croft; and her sister Rita Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Jo Ellen Croft II (Robert) of Athens, Beth Anne Reinhardt (John) of Springfield and George Castles, Jr. (Michelle) of Greenview.
