Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marilyn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Lucas and Genevieve Skinner Lucas; her daughter Laurie Ann Detgen; and her brothers, Robert S. Lucas and Ronald G. Lucas.
She is survived by: her son Mark L. Detgen of Springfield; and her sisters, Janie Khoury (John) of Kenosha and June Lucas (Robert) of Collinsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
