Marilyn M. Spengler Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn M. Spengler of Springfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl C. Baptist and Myrtle B. Hoag Baptist; her husband Henry T. Spengler; and her sisters, Betty Davenport and Vivian Southcomb.
She is survived by: her stepson Lester Knopp (Kathy) of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Juliette Wolf (Tim) and Ally Knopp; her great grandchildren, Clayton Wolf and Parker Wolf; and her sister Beverly Elliott (Paul L.) of Waverly. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Marilyn's memory by taking a friend out for coffee.
