It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marsha Messmore of Springfield, Illinois, born in Paris, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald R. Schwartz and Jane A. Schwartz (Forbes); her brother-in-law Terry Day; her great-niece Caity; and her pet Sydney.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Messmore; her children, Matthew Messmore (Amy), Megan Forshee (Sean) and Ian Messmore (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Kate, Parker, Max and Blake; and her siblings, Jon Schwartz (Sally), Donna Day, Paula Gibson (Ed), Beth Bulpitt (Mike) and Gina Liggett (Brian). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
