It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Shores of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold William and Martha M. Charles; her husband Kenneth R. Shores; and her siblings, William H. Charles and Mary K. Richno.

She is survived by : her daughter Kimberly L. Rebbe (Steve) of Petersburg, IL; her grandsons, Travis Rebbe (Luke) of Springfield, Zachary R. Rebbe of St. Charles, MO and Nicholas J. Rebbe of Petersburg, IL; and her nephew Ralph Richno of Springfield.

Memorials may be made to the Sangamon County HCE Quilting Group.

“Because of recent knee surgery, I am unable to make it, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. MARTHA and I g0 way back to our school days. We followed the Harmony Brothers Band around and she taught me how to dance, Even tho I was there 510 and she was 5 one or 2,she sure could turn me . Many more memories, that are hers and mine,,will forever be.Miss her. LOVE JUNE.”
