She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ramon and Mary Emma Sherer (Turner); her son Paul Oberreiter; her siblings, Michael "Scotty" Sherer and Gail Kruse; and her significant other Jerry Fox.

She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Oberreiter of Springfield; her grandchildren, Kenneth Eskew (Krista), Gabrielle Tucker (Larry) and Mikayla Oberreiter; her great grandchildren, Carter Tucker, Alivia Tucker and Hudson Eskew; her close friend Candace Powers; her daughter-in-law Ashley Thornton; and her sister-in-law Mary Sherer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
