With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Brown Tolan of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Brown and Alice C. Brown (Kaiser); her husband Hugh G. Tolan; her siblings, Betty and Maurice; her nieces, Karen and Mary Jo; and her nephew Gene.
She is survived by: her children, Marilee Tolan Stone (late Robert) of Springfield and Mark E. Tolan of Springfield; her grandchildren, Heather Stone (James McDaniels) of Springfield and Justin Stone (Kristy) of Springfield; her great grandchildren, Alec Stone and Mikey Loureiro; and her nephew James Aggertt (Ruth Ann) of Florida. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
