She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Ashish John and Dr. Anish John; her children-in-law, Dr. Teena John and Dr. Kiran John; her grandchildren, Ashwin John, Simran John, Yohan John and Inara John; her brother Thomas Kurien (Santha Kurien); her cousin Elizabeth Mathew; her nieces and nephews, Dr. Prem Thomas, Dr. Prakash Thomas, Susan Kurien and Miriam Tyrell; and her pet Mickey. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Central Baptist Church (501 S 4th St, Springfield, IL 62701). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Old Salem Cemetery (5962 Old Salem Ln, Springfield, IL 62711).
