It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. W. Midden of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wangard and Helen Wangard (Jarzewiak); her husband Charles J. Midden; and her daughters, Mary Huntley and Regina Farley.
She is survived by: her children, Marshall Midden (Susan) of Maple Grove, MN, Cosima VanBuskirk (Charles) of Ventura, CA, Derek Midden (Kim) of Chatham and Selena Midden of Springfield; her grandchildren, Susan Pagnac, Jonathan VanBuskirk (Kimberly), Christopher, Michelle Huntley, Skylar and Tylar Midden; and her great grandchildren, Darius, Katie and Riya VanBuskirk.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Regina Midden Farley Scholarship Fund at the University of Illinois, Springfield, Illinois Humane Society, and Good Days.
