It is with sadness that the passing of Mary M. Moss of Springfield, Illinois is shared. Mary, born on July 30, 1936, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Ridlen and Thora Mae Ridlen (Clarkson); her stepson Henry C. "Sonny" Moss, Jr.; her granddaughter Julie Moss; her brother Carl Ridlen; and her niece Jennifer Skotty.
She is survived by: her husband Henry C. Moss; her granddaughter Jodie Lublin (Doug) of Chatham; her siblings, Donald Ridlen (Norma) of Granite City, Beulah Allison (Chuck) of Springfield and Bernice Cattron of Springfield; and her friends, Diana, Steve Banning and Mark Banning. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A reception was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (2941 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711).
