It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jayne Turner of Springfield, Illinois, born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hiram Miller and Goldie Miller (Kirkman); her husband David Elles Turner; her brother Hiram Miller, Jr.; and her grandson Joshua Schleyhahn.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Ann Schleyhahn, Dana Spencer and Lisa Johnson (Jeff); and her sister Elaine Hellweg. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson Park Funeral Home - Rochester (200 E Main St, Rochester, IL 62563). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rochester Christian Church (325 S Walnut St, Rochester, IL 62563).
