It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melody J. Meyer of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Helen Kean, Kenneth and Marian Richards. She is survived by: her parents, Mark Gilbert Kean (Vickie) of Springfield and Janet Christine Richards of Springfield; her husband Joshua A. Meyer; her daughter Ella Marie Meyer of Springfield; her siblings, Melissa Sanders (Jeb) of Springfield, Miranda Stewart (Andrew) of Girard, Margaret "Maggie" Kean of Springfield and Mike Kean (Holly) of Elliot; and her grandfather Frank Kean of Springfield. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Hope School Foundation.
