It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A. Costa of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene C. Costa and Bernadette Costa (Quinn); and his siblings, Elizabeth Kapnick and Eugene E. Costa. He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Elafros of Tucson, AZ, David Costa (Sharon) of Springfield, IL and Edward Costa of Decatur, IL; his aunt Sallie Ineich of Louisiana; and his uncle Jim Quinn (Ginger) of Pueblo, CO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
