With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael D. Davis of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Davis and Bernice Davis. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Diana Widicus; his children, Andy Davis (Destiny), Megan Flanary (Korhy), Jane Briguglio (Emily) and Nathan Davis (Jason); his grandchildren, Oliver, Nancy, Theodore, Lincoln and Mikey; and his siblings, Allan, Marilyn and Janet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“In loving memory of Michael D. Davis, Diana, we got your Christmas letter today. It was forwarded from our minn. home to our place in Fl. So it took awhile. We are so sorry Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I did not see that coming. I remember playing cards and just getting together at our houses in Springfield. His loss hit me hard. I/we really enjoyed messing around with Mike and Bob Grouthaus. Please call me when you can 612 227 4297 love Greg and Judy.”
