It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael E. Sanderfield of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Terry Sanderfield and Paula Sanderfield (Shaffer); and his siblings, Ashleigh, Devon and Alicia Sanderfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Sanderfield Memorial Fund (c/o Terry Sanderfield) which will be given to Michael's favorite charity.
