He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Fix and Mary E. Underwood Fix. He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Franz; his children, Michael D. Fix (Sheri) of Springfield, Joshua M. Fix (Tracy) of Melbourne, FL and Renee M. Beeching (Michael) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Brittany Fix, Liliana Fix and Dean Beeching; and his sisters, Jo Ann Hornstein of Maryville, TN, Janet Vaughn of Springfield and Judie White (Michael) of Springfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the IL Veteran's Home at Quincy.
