She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick "Himself" Shea and Judith A. Cawley Shea. She is survived by: her husband Vince E. Smith; her children, Joshua N. Smith of Denver, CO, Emma M. Gerhardt (Jonathan) of Peoria and Lauren A. Smith of Springfield; her siblings, Mary A. Richey (Michael) and Patrick M. Shea (Mary) of Springfield; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Richey (Megan), Matthew Richey, Anna Shea and Ryan Shea.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1725 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
