He is survived by: his children, Eric Gentry and Jessica Walbert; his granddaughter Kaleigh Walbert; and his siblings, David, Bill Gentry, Louise Clark (George), Sandy Heinrich, Marilyn Gentry, Emma Simmons, Anna Hartley and Judy Oger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
