She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Bodendieck and Cassie Bodendieck (Denbow); her husband Rex Ward; her daughter Linda Ward; and her siblings, Margie Kish and Robert "Bob" Bodendieck.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Ward (Bonnie) of Washington, Matt Ward (Kim) of Springfield and David Ward (Angela) of Washington, Indiana; and her brothers, Jim Bodendieck (Pat), Jerry Bodendieck (Fay) and Randy Bodendieck (Laura Lundy) of Independence, Missouri. She is also survived by grandchildren; (18) great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
