She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil L. Harvell, Sr. and Frances R. Conover Harvell; her husband John Richards; and her siblings, Virgil "Corky" Harvell, Jr., James "Jimmy" Harvell, Jennifer L. Harvell and George "Scrappy" Harvell.
She is survived by: her daughter Ja'Nice Suggs-Stemmons; her stepdaughter Christina "Johnetta" Richards-Ware; her grandchildren, Patrice Worthy, Deanna Stemmons and Franklin "Chris" Stemmons, Jr. of Springfield; her siblings, Janice Whitt, Diane Harvell of Springfield, IL and Dennis Harvell of Las Vegas, NV; her great grandchildren, Andrea and Khali Lawuary; and her stepgrandchildren, Danielle Anderson, LaDasia Ware and Marque'Ware. She is also survived by one step great-grandson and two step great-granddaughters.
