He was predeceased by: his parents, Deane Daykin and Buraldine Crumly Daykin; his sister Carole Daykin Horsley; and his niece Christine. He is survived by: his children, Carrie Daykin of Springfield, Sue Volkmann (Curt) of Lake Geneva, WI, David Daykin (Jodi) of Sherman and Steve Daykin (Jessica) of Plano, TX; his grandchildren, Abigail Volkmann, Anna (Volkmann), Whitney (Grant Whitney), Alec Daykin, Daniel Daykin (Holly), Quinn Daykin, Grant Daykin, Alyson Daykin, Trent Daykin, Kate Daykin, Gianna and Lyla Calles; his great grandchild Murphy May Daykin; and his nephew Chip Horsley.
