He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Garst and Shirley Garst (McKinzie); and his brother Dale Garst. He is survived by: his daughters, Jaime Nash (Frank) of Bloomington, Randi Garst (Chris Redman) of Springfield, Sarah Ghiglieri (Jim) of Washington, IL and Lauren Rumler (Ryan) of Washington, IL; his grandchildren, Seyarra (Alexa), Kaedynn (Hailey), Anna, Grace, Sam, Jack and Ashyr; his great grandchild Raelynn; and his sisters, Linda Stoppelwerth (Jim) of Riverton and Connie Bringle (Bob) of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
