It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard F. Mulcahy of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel M. Mulcahy and Ester K. Mulcahy (Cramer); his brother Daniel J. Mulcahy; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Mulcahy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Mulcahy of Springfield; his children, Michelle Smith (Kevin) of Springfield, Joseph Mulcahy of Naples, FL, Kevin Mulcahy (Michelle) of Lorton, VA, Mark Mulcahy (Debbi) of Houston, TX, Colleen Henderson (Brian) of Morton, IL and Maureen Di Donato (Guido); his grandchildren, Kelsey Hash (Michael), Morgan Olson (Will), Lauren Mulcahy, Thomas Smith (Kari), William Smith (Cassidy), Margaret George (Caleb), Matthew Smith, Rachel Henderson, Cailynn Mulcahy, Mara Mulcahy and Geno Di Donato; his great grandchild Noah Hash; and his sister Joanne Wilkey (Paul) of Festus, MO.. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
