He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar C. Walch and Viola R. Walch (Halford); and his siblings, Delores Dudas and Don Walch. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Walch of Springfield; his son Christopher Heather of Springfield; and his sibling's children, Tammy Bourmatnov, Dayton Dudas (Sue), Devin Dudas (Lori) and Kevin Walch.
A graveside service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morrisonville City Cemetery (331 County Rd 400 E, Morrisonville, IL 62546).
