He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Ann Lippert; and his goddaughter Carol Alderson. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Anderson Wheeler; his sons, Rick E. Wheeler of Springfield, Troy L. Wheeler of Springfield, Jeremy Wheeler of Springfield and Joshua Wheeler of Springfield; his grandchildren, Lucas Stinson of Nokomis, Hayley and Jade Wheeler of Springfield; his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Jasper and Tucker; and his aunt Garnet Cook of Jacksonville.
