She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fitzgerald and Katherine McGrath Fitzgerald; her husband Richard "Dick" A. Bernet; and her siblings, Jody, Patricia, Rosemary, Jerome and Eileen.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Kremitzki (Jim Bergquam) of Hickory, NC, Richard Bernet of Chicago, Doug Bernet of Springfield and Greg Bernet (Nikki) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Kyle Kremitzki (Taylor McCarthy), Caroline, Charlie and Lilly Bernet; her great grandchild Everly Kremitzki; and her brother Thomas "Tom" Fitzgerald (Dorothy) of Springfield. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
