It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita E. Meyrick in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Meyrick; and her brothers, Carl Kelly and Bill Meyrick. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rowen, Oliver Buss, Lucas, Hazel, Amber and Nathan Bucciarelli; her children, Bill Buss (Lacey), Mary Bartels (Jamie) and Joshua Bartels (Candace); and her siblings, Jim Meyrick (Elizabeth) and Bernadette Connig.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home (620 Pulaski St, Lincoln, IL 62656). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Bill Buss or Josh Bartels to assist with expenses.
