Robert Bergen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Bergen (Springfield, Illinois), who passed away on July 12, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. Bergen and Maryann Stramick Bergen. He is survived by: his wife B. J. Bergen of Chatham; his children, Patty Lear (Heidi) of Orlando, FL, Mike and Frank Bergen of Springfield; his stepchildren, Brian Hollis (Jennifer) of Plainfield, IL, Becky Rychel (Jim) and Melissa Hollis (Terrell Silas) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Hayden, Josh, Calvin, Ashley, Shaunna, Lindsy and Makenzie; his great grandchildren, True, Kamryn, Marleo, Jazlynn and Kaison; and his siblings, Carol Mendenhall (Wayne) of Chatham, Bill Bergen (Joyce) of Litchfield, Tom Bergen of Riverside, CA and Jeanette Seitz of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
