With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Day Sr. of Springfield, Illinois, born in Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Day and Mary Day (Thomas); and his brother Terry Day. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Day; his children, Robert Day Jr. (Jim Blasko) and Kara Day; his siblings, Gail Day, Karla Klindworth (Brett) and Randy Day (Sherry); and his aunt Jane Rebbe. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson Diseases Association.
