He was predeceased by: his brother William Sharp; and his nephew Joey Muhs. He is survived by: his wife Angie Muhs; his sons, Andrew of Springfield and Finn Sharp of Springfield; his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Dori Sharp of Arlington, VA.; his brother Mike Sharp of Brooklyn; his parents-in-law, Urban and Marilyn Muhs of Olney; and his siblings-in-law, Dan and Diane Muhs of Olney.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Boardman-Smith Funeral Home (800 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL 62704). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. He took great pride in his role in helping the courts quickly adapt and move operations online during the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
