With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert G. Starkey of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd G. and Moine L. Starkey (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Ann Starkey of Springfield; his daughters, Jayne Squibb (Jeff) of Springfield and Susan King (Harold Oliver) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Teri White (Christopher), Maclin Squibb (Alle Ragland), Janek Squibb (Stuart Ford) and Cainan Squibb; and his siblings, Richard (Marlyn Sue), Tony (Myra), Darrel (Liz), Carrel Starkey (Marsha) and Janette Bledsoe (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
