He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret and Francis; his siblings, Carol Wellington, Fred Reed and Judy Wellington; his nephew Frank Reed; his wife Linda Reed; and his son Christopher Reed.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home-Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (404 E Birch St, New Berlin, IL 62670).
