He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jones and Lorraine Howell (Burgess); his sister Iva June Horning; his brother-in-law Thomas Horning; his brother Leroy Jones; and his nephew-in-law Ted Tepelidis.
He is survived by: his nephew Larry Tucker (Diana) of Phoenix, Arizona; his nieces, Lynda Tepelidis of Encino and Barbara Lepore of North Hills, California; and his cousin David Burgess (Susan) of Centralia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the World War II Illinois Veterans Memorial Board in Oak Ridge Cemetery and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, are honored to be of service to the Jones Family.
