He is survived by: his siblings, Deanna Kavish (Joe), Maggie Ahlers (George) and Alvin Murphy; his wife Mary Kay Murphy; his daughters, Jacqi Murphy, April Howlett of Springfield, Ashley Murphy of Detroit, MI and Rebecca Murphy (Jason) of Bethany, IL; and his stepson Brian Murphy of Springfield, IL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one niece, and several nephews and cousins.
