With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert M. Richardson of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Richardson and Della Mae Richardson (Byers); his wife Harriett Pfirman; and his siblings, Nora Enlow, Mary Gochanour, Emma Beams, William S. Richardson and Clarence D. Richardson.
He is survived by: his sons, Kent Richardson (Bobbie) of Collinsville, IL and Robert L Richardson (Rose) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Shane Richardson (Jamie) of Peoria, IL, Brian Richardson of Arvada, CO and Bethany Richardson of Springfield; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Finley, Molly and Elias Richardson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bisch Funeral Home West (2931 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
