We bid farewell to Robert Sisson of Springfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Franklin Sr. and Ruth Sisson (Lynn); his former wife Sharon Hawke; and his siblings, Horace "Bud" Sisson, Jr. and Deanna Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ward of Springfield; his children, Cress Sisson (Heather) of Auburn and Kari Lutchka (Greg) of Chatham, Illinois; and his sister Sandra Ebert of Kilbourne. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two step-grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Petersburg (122 W Douglas St, Petersburg, IL 62675).
