He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Cooney and Grace Cooney (Wohlford); his brothers, James, Thomas, Michael and Kevin Cooney; and his nephew Steven Senecal.
He is survived by: his sister Mary P. Senecal of Lenexa, KS.
