She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl J. Bock and Edith A. Czipar Bock; her husband Richard Evan Newtson; and her brothers, Ronald and Robert Bock.

She is survived by : her children, Randy Newtson of Madison, WI and Rachel McKain (Jason) of Dunlap, IL; her grandson Evan McKain; and her sister Roberta Volkmann of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (533 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704).
