He is survived by: his wife Victoria Katz Whitaker of Springfield; his children, Kimberly Napierkowski (Matthew) of Mundelein, IL, Amy Whitaker of Pittsburgh, PA, Douglas Whitaker (Tiffany) of Ashland, IL, Theodore Whitaker (Linda) of Springfield and Quinlyn Murphy (Jason) of Springfield; and his sister Carol Scholes (Greg) of Springfield. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
